We a family of seven on a grand worldwide adventure.

We hope you can join us.

We’re the Seven Wanderers—a regular family of seven from British Columbia, Canada (two parents and five kids)—who decided to step way outside our comfort zone and travel the world together for a full year, starting January 1, 2026.After more than five years of dreaming, praying, planning, saving, and preparing, we finally made it happen. On New Year's Day 2026, we left Canada behind and began our big adventure.

Travel is incredible on its own, but for us it’s about so much more:

  • Growing closer as a family through shared experiences (the good, the chaotic, and everything in between).

  • Knowing God more deeply and sharing His love in different cultures around the world.

  • Learning about the world hands-on—history, people, food, nature—in a way books and screens can’t match.

  • Discovering what large-family life looks like when you’re constantly together 24/7 in new places.

We’re not rich, we’re not influencers with sponsors (yet!), and we’re figuring out logistics one step at a time—just like any family would. Some things are still TBD, and we’ve had our share of nerves, like unbooked flights, house renters, kids experiencing their first international flights, etc. But we’re doing it anyway because we believe the best lessons come from saying yes to the big, scary, beautiful unknown.

On this site and our YouTube channel (@SevenWanderers2026), we share what we’re learning:

  • Practical tips and realities of traveling as a large family.

  • Honest reflections on marriage, parenting, sibling dynamics, and faith on the move.

  • The highs, lows, funny moments, and quiet beautiful ones from our journey.

We’d love for you to follow along, whether you’re dreaming of your own adventure, curious about family travel, or just here for the stories. Subscribe to the blog for updates, hit the YouTube bell for videos, and drop us a comment—we read every one! Thanks for being part of our story.
