We are Actually Doing It

It’s been years in the making but the time to begin the journey is fast approaching.

On January 1, 2026, we will be leaving Canada for one full calendar year. Some of the kids have never been on an airplane and only one of them had been outside of the country…when he was two years old. About half of the year is planned out (February to July for YWAM) but the second half is more open. We are open to go where the wind blows, to a degree, but are focusing primarily on Europe and Africa. We plan to return after Christmas in 2026.

Pray for us as we make the final arrangements. As you may have guessed, planning a RTW trip with a family of seven is no easy task — it’s a logistic nightmare — and we do not have every leg of the journey nailed down. If you are wondering if we are interested in hearing about a connection you have that may (or may) not work out for us, I can assure you that we are interested and follow up on almost every lead.

We are not rich and we will not be dropping tens of thousands of dollars on hotels so any information, support, prayer, connections, etc. are welcome!
